About Us (1st Generation)Dewayne E. Nettles , Sr. opened Brookhaven Skating Rink November 3, 1972. Dewayne & Louise Nettles operated the rink for many years. Brookhaven Skating rink has been providing the Community with Fun, Safe, Well Supervised Entertainment from 1972 - 2017
(2nd Generation) On September 18, 2009, Dewayne's daughter, Delores Nettles Havard and her husband, Ronald Turner Havard Sr. purchased Brookhaven Skating Rink. They owned & operated the rink from 2009 - 2017 . Pictured is Dewayne & his daughter Delores skating in a portable rink, that was moved from town to town before the permanent rink was built. (3rd Generation) On October 27, 2017, Delores's nephew Robbie L. Nettles purchased Brookhaven Skating Rink 3 G from her and her husband. Robbie's first official night is Friday, November 3, 2017 which will be 45 .years in business. What a Blessing having a 3rd Generation continuing with the family tradition!
